Safe in God’s hand

It is true that no person achieves perfection on this earth. However, there is no such thing as a genuine believer sitting still after he has been saved. A believer must not become comfortable, complacent, lethargic, lazy or begin to think that he is safe and secure forever; therefore, he can sometimes do what he likes and give in to his own desires.

“I press on towards the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:14, NIV).

Are you still keeping your eyes on the goal? Are you still pressing on in Christ?

Salvation in Jesus Alone

Salvation cannot be earned through efforts and works; rather it is given freely by Jesus. It is only by entering through Jesus, the true Gate that we can experience and enjoy salvation, safety and satisfaction.
I am the gate. Those who come in by me will be saved; they will come in and go out and find pasture. (John 10:9|GNB)

I am the gate. Those who come in by me will be saved; they will come in and go out and find pasture. (John 10:9|GNB)
Stop trying to get saved, just enter through the Gate which is Jesus and you will experience the love, care and protection of the Good Shepherd.

Stop trying to get saved, just enter through the Gate which is Jesus and you will experience the love, care and protection of the Good Shepherd.

Dwelling in Christ

As God’s temple, His habitation through the Spirit, He beckons us to glorify Him in our mortal bodies and our endeavours. God cannot dwell in dirty hearts or bodies.

And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God fives by His Spirit. (Ephesians 2:22. NIV )

If God is building us, it is because He wants to make us fit for His purpose. We can allow God to complete His work in our lives as ‘a due above sins and promote a life of righteousness.

The Day of Joy

Every man on earth desires joy, not sadness. We all detect sorrow. A joyous heart rejoices and feel good. But joy that is not from Jesus remains transient.

To have a joyous faith, you need a real encounter with Jesus. You need to admit where you have fallen short of God’s expectations.

A Prayer of David. Bow down thine ear, O LORD, hear me: for I am poor and needy. Preserve my soul; for I am holy: O thou my God, save thy servant that trusteth in thee. Be merciful unto me, O Lord: for I cry unto thee daily. (Psalms 86:1-3KJV)

As you celebrate the newness of God’s faithfulness in life today, may the Lord cause a great shaking in heavens and on earth for your favour. You are blessed.

Abiding in Christ

Oh, that you would come and begin simply to listen to His Word and to ask only the one question: Does He really mean that I should abide in Him? The answer His Word gives is so simple and so sure: By His almighty grace you now are in Him; that same almighty grace will indeed enable you to abide in Him. By faith you became partakers of the initial grace; by that same faith you can enjoy the continuous grace of abiding in Him. Andrew Murray

Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. (John 16:4)

Abiding in Christ requires a continuous efforts and improvement.

Worshiping in Faith

Today’s 🍞 Bread

Singing faith has to do with rejoicing to declare the greatness of God.

Praising and worshiping the Almighty comes from such a faith even when one’s expectation has not been sighted. It is obvious that wherever a singing faith operates, God Himself is provoked to prove that He is God.

Sing, O heavens, for the LORD has done this wonderful thing. (Isaiah 44:23, NIV)

You can boost the singing faith in you today. Build up such a faith, regardless of intimidations, lack, storms of life around you, and frustrate the token of liars, make diviners mad and confound the wise.

Repentance

Today’s 🍞 Bread

We all deserve death, which is the
ultimate penalty for sin. Everyone will pay for
his sin unless he comes to Christ, who has
paid the price for our sin with His blood. S.  Michael Houdmann.

“If so be they will hearken, and turn every man from his evil way, that I may repent me of the evil, which I purpose to do unto them because of the evil of their doings. (Jeremiah 26:3|KJV)

Genuine repentance is the key to a divine restoration.

The Christian shoemaker does his duty not by putting little crosses on the shoe, but by making good shoes because God is interested in good craftsmanship”. – Martin Luther.

“And in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority” ( Colossians 2:10, NIV)

Believers must be rooted in faith and discipline in Christ Jesus. It is not sufficient to just know Jesus Christ, every believer must remain and grow in Him.

The battles of life

There are some enemies we just can’t fight.
They are too powerful, too relentless, too
overwhelming and we are too weak, too
tired, too defeated. What a comfort to know
we have a God who fights on our behalf. Valerie Rousseau

The most powerful Jesus, the strength of the weak.

BIBLE VERSE FOR THE DAY
Through You we will push down our
enemies; through Your name we will
trample those who rise up against us. For I
will not trust in my bow, nor shall my
sword save me. But You have saved us
from our enemies, and have put to shame
those who hated us. In God we boast all
day long, and praise Your name forever.(Psalm 44:5)

PRAYER POINT
The Lord will fight all your battles for you and you will have all-round peace.  Amen

Titanic

The Titanic was presumed to be the largest, safest
and strongest luxury ship in the world before it embarked on its disastrous maiden voyage in April 1912.
All kinds of people were welcomed on the ship for
its first voyage.

Titanic

The rich, the famous, the elite, women, children, families and staff of the ship were all happy to be on board. It was billed to be the ship that could not sink, but it did sink on its first journey from Southampton to New York. This was one of the greatest tragedies of all time.

After the ship sank, two lists were presented at the
offices of The White Star Company (the company which built the Titanic). The list was simple. It had only two sections: ‘LOST’ and ‘SAVED’.
People came to read these lists to find out if their
loved ones had survived. Interestingly, before the
journey so many things were important. Whether they worked on the ship or were on vacation? Whether they were rich or poor. Whether they were millionaires or peasants. Whether they were stockbrokers or not. Whether they were in first class or economy class.
Whether they were men or women. Whether they
had a lot of luggage or not.

But after the sinking of the Titanic none of these things mattered anymore. Only one thing mattered- whether they were saved or lost.
Dear friend that is how Eternity will be.
A time will come when none of the things we have on this earth will matter. A time will come when it will not matter whether you are a man or a woman! A time will come when it will not matter whether you are rich or poor!

What will matter is whether you are ‘LOST’ or ‘SAVED’ on the day you die and meet your creator! GIVE YOUR LIFE TO JESUS TODAY! AND IF YOU ALREADY HAVE,LIVE FOR HIM!!!!

Never give up on God

A beautiful 52year old woman, not a widow nor a divorced got married for the first time in her life to an equally handsome 56year old man, single! In God’s programme, there is no lateness, no hopelessness, no time limit! Trust in Him your miracle is on the way!  Amen.
